LAWSOC plays an important role in both the professional and social development of students at the University of Canterbury.
To support the academic success of our members, we run a series of tutorials throughout the year, host exam-focused study sessions, and facilitate private tutorials. We also host competitions to hone our members’ professional skills (see here)

Essay Tutorials
LAWSOC also often hosts tutorials for various compulsory research essays, such as the iconic ‘What is Law?’ essay, legal history, public law and torts.
